Do i have to reset it somehow to be compatable with the new upgrade??? Please HELP ASAP!
Office 365 service health portal has just opened a service incident EX2914, related to email and calendar access. In my case, a subset of users is affected, but those users cannot get to Exchange online via either Outlook or Outlook Web Access.
Just FYI to you all for now.
How do i edit my current website that I already had before the update?
Please HELP!
hi...I apply an O365 free acount and login it. But where is the SharePoint Online feathure?
I remembered that we can login the O365 admin page and do some operation in SharePoint Online feathure before. Where is it now?
My steps:
1. Register an account in below:
2. Type some info and login it.
I used Microsoft Query to link two tables in an Excel workbook to tables in an Access Web Database using the query wizard and ODBC driver. The Access database and Excel file are stored on my local hard drive.
These tables refresh with no issues as long as the Access database is not published online.
After publishing the Access database on SharePoint Online, when I attempt to hit "refresh all" in Excel, I get the following error message:
ODBC Microsoft Access Driver Login Failed
The Database has been placed in a state by user 'admin'
on machine 'xxx' that prevents it from being opened or locked
After hitting 'OK' it prompts for a login name and password for the Access file even though none have been set.
Refreshing the tables individually works fine. You just can't use the 'refresh all' key. How do I get rid of this error message?
How do I find what version of Office 365 I'm using for posting on this forum?
I would like to display all announcements of different site collections on the MySite Host page. Is this possible in Office 365? How can I do this?
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
I hope this is the correct part of the forum for my question.
I am curious about the status of the My Site after the update to Wave 15. I know you can do a preview of regular site collections after the update and decide by yourself if you want to change these to SharePoint 2013. How does this work for the My Site experience?
Before the update it is the 2010 version but what after the update? Is it automatically 2013?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Regards,
Jasper
Hi, I have lots of email addresses I want to switch from my current host which are all pop accounts to Microsoft Exchange.
I want to make the transition as seamless as possible for my clients and am wondering the best way to do it.
I know the best thing to do is to verify and change it over after working hours to minimize downtime.
After Creating their new exchange account on their devices, would it be best to leave the old pop email account on their devices so they can access old emails?
Is there any way to import all these older pop emails into the new exchange account?
Also, If I change the mailserver for a domain to 'Microsoft Exchange', Does this mean they have no option but to move all accounts to exchange?
Thanks in advance for your help
Billy
I lost an entire email folder in an E3 mailbox today and all "traditional" methods of recovering it failed.
I then looked to see if Office365 has any backup solutions and found this thread at spiceworks where Micheal Cianchetti shares (somewhere before the mid way scrolling) that "... A M$ engineer told me flat out - they do not back up. So there is your answer! ... When I scolded the engineer he said if enough customers complain they will institute a backup solution. Really? REALLY!? Yeesh!"
What is disturbing is that this is a recent post apprently dated 28 Feb 2013.
Is this really the case that MS does no backup and does not offer recovery services? If so, what is the official advice and from Microsoft to solve the backup and recovery problem?
I'm trying to move using this guide
http://office365support.ca/unable-to-move-mailboxes-to-office-365-because-of-corrupted-items/
But I'm getting this error on part 3
PS M:\> $Session = New-PSSession -ConfigurationName Microsoft.Exchange -ConnectionUri https://ps.outlook.com/powershell/
-Credential $Cred -Authentication Basic -AllowRedirection
New-PSSession : [ps.outlook.com] Connecting to remote server ps.outlook.com failed with the following error message :

WHY?
Has anybody been able to come up with a good way to manage Office 365 servcies and connections via Group Policy when running Windows 7 and Office 2010? Struggling to find a way to easily manage the SkyDrive Pro integrations when on these platforms and not running Windows 8 or Office 2013. I understand that the new Office 365 was built on the 2013 technology but Windows 7 is what we are on and it is hard to move to a system that is not as easily managable with our current version of OS and Office. Just hoping someone can share what they have used to help with this or at least to confirm that I am not alone, there is no options for easy management, and I need to stop managing integrations of our clients in a cloud model. Maybe i am just venting but I hope I am not alone in this and someone has a way to make this easier other than just saying "Upgrade to Windows 8 or Office 365".
Thanks much,
Mark
