I would like to suggest that Microsoft build a new feature within EAC similar to the Distribution List Owners feature, that would allow for Shared Mailboxes to have owners so that they can manage the delegates. This would make it easier for admins. We (my company) get requests from users to be added to shared mailboxes and there isn't a easy way to verify if the user should be added to the Shared MBX. With the feature that I suggested the manager would be the point of contact who can then make the decision whether the requester is to be added or not. I know that this feature would also involve new programming into Outlook...but it would be an excellent one to consider and implement.
