Hello everyone out there,
My end users have hard time dealing with new upgrade version of office 365. They complained that they cannot download attached files as zip and have to download each individual attached file. It is ok when they have one or two attached file. When they receive 20 attached files, it is a heck of work to download.
Any solution or alternatives for this. Is this because of upgrading new version?
Best Regards
Joe
I have my public web site hosted in SharePoint Online. The site works fine for what it needs to do. I also have Lync and Exchange hosted with Office 365. They also work just fine. I have set them up as described in http://office.microsoft.com/client/15/help/home?Shownav=true&lcid=1033&ns=O365ENTADMIN&ver=15&services=MCOSTANDARD%2cSHAREPOINTSTANDARD%2cEXCHANGE_S_STANDARD&HelpID=O365E_DNSMgr_DomainPurpose
I have my Domain records hosted at Go Daddy. That seems to work fine as well.
When I go to http://www.deucesdetail.com this work fine - I get my web page.
However, when I only type in http://decuesdetail.com (no www prefix) I get the Go Daddy page that says my domain isn't configured yet. This is a huge issue for me since many of the search engines start with that domain, and I've heard from customers that they can't get to the site.
I called Go Daddy and they said that I need to point my @ A Record at the IP Address of the service - but my understanding is that SharePoint Online can't be referred to by and IP Address they must use a domain name.
I can't be the first person with this problem - is there a simple alias I can do with Go Daddy to point http://.deucesdetail.com to http://www.deucesdetail.com? Is there a way to get an acceptable IP address for the @ A Record?
Thanks in Advance!
Hi Team,
Problem: whenever a new user goes to Mysite site or Skydrive pro for first time. The user regional settings are default to UTC-8.00 Pacific Time (US and Canada), English (United States).
We want default settings to be UTC+10.00 Canberra,Melbourne,Sydney, English(Australia).
Is there any possibility to pre-fix regional settings of all users Mysite site collection in a tenant?
Next week we are going to provision around 15000 users in to Office 365 SharePoint.
It will be huge task to update each person regional settings.
We need any global settings which forces the user Mysite Site collection regional settings.
Quick solution appreciated.
Hi,
I had opened a service request with MS to get an SPO error fixed. The error was (in this case) with notifications not being sent and/or when setting up notifications in discussion boards.
I was told that this was a globally known issue, and it would therefore see a fix within the next 3 months, when next update is due,
Now that we have met more errors, I would like to known if following were known issues, which also would be fixed with next update.
Are these known issues?
- When assigning a task from a tasklist to a recipient/assignee – the person is not notified, by mail, of this.
- Request of access to SPO sites, does not send mails to admin.
Hello;
I am still cutting my teeth on this PowerShell stuff and need assistance. I thought pulling a Mailbox Attribute value into a variable then writing the variable data back would do the trick, but I end up with this..
Before:
CustomAttribute10 = "Sparky10"
CustomAttribute15 = NULL
After: (Bad Result)
CustomAttribute10 = "Sparky10"
CustomAttribute15 = "@<CustomAttribute10=Sparky10"
I NEED: (If someone can assist)
CustomAttribute10 = NULL
CustomAttribute15 = "Sparky10"
The value from CustomAttribute10 will need to be essentially copied to CustomAttribute15, then CustomAttribute10 will need to be cleared. I used Sparky10 as a test attribute value, but every user's actual CustomAttribute10 value will be unique.
Thanks in advance.
